Thanksgiving is not the most festive of holidays, but it is one that just about everybody can get into - who doesn't like turkey, cranberries, stuffing, and two days off from work?!
We celebrated the holiday here in grand style, with party hats, a grand turkey (roasted diligently all day by Pilgrim Ben), and some beautiful pies on Friday night, and another feast on Saturday (unfortunately the hats did not make it that far). Turkey and cranberry is great no matter where you have it, and my sweet potato casserole (made here with kumara and big marshmallows that were mostly white with a few pink ones) was a nice little addition.
